Notice of Campus Identified In Need

of A Turn Around Plan

Fannin Elementary School has been identified as a campus required to develop a Turnaround Plan (TAP) for implementation in the 2026-27 school year. The campus is a TAP campus because of being identified as Academically Unacceptable campus for two or more years. The purpose of the TAP is to provide assistance for moving the campus out of School Improvement status.  

The campus will have a parent/community meeting on October 29, 2025 from 5:00-6:00

The TAP for Fannin Elementary School will provide planning and implementation supports focused on these five areas based on the Effective Schools Framework:

1. Strong school leadership and planning
2. Strategic staffing
3. Positive school culture
4. High-quality instructional materials and assessments
5. Effective instruction.
